China-Asean Micro Drama Contest
The 8th China-ASEAN Audio-Visual Week is co-hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration of China, competent authorities of Brunei and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and organized under the lead of the Radio and Television Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is included in the commemorative events marking the 5th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between China and ASEAN designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. As one of the flagship events of the 8th China-ASEAN Audio-Visual Week, this contest adopts the theme of “AI Empowerment, Co-Creation and Shared Future”. It aims to leverage the strengths of micro dramas featuring compact narratives and high communication efficiency, keep pace with the industrial shift toward high-quality production, internationalization and digital intelligent upgrading, discover outstanding original content and creative talents, and boost in-depth integration between micro dramas and cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence. Funding support will be granted to shortlisted entries to facilitate the industrialization and commercialization of excellent works and advance high-quality development of the China-ASEAN micro drama industry.
