The film follows Li Xiayun, who accidentally falls off a cliff while hiking in the remote mountains and stumbles upon a hidden ancient mansion in search of help. She is taken in for the night by the mysterious homeowner, Shi Qiao, but soon becomes trapped in a series of terrifying supernatural events — including dolls that move on their own and eerie cries echoing through the night. As the horrors unfold, Shi Qiao appears to be hiding a dark and unspoken secret.
